Rick Weber, President and CEO of OceanAir Federal Credit Union

2022 is here, and CBC has plenty to be grateful for and so much to look forward to in the coming year. Although the year was challenging for many due to the pandemic, our hardworking team was available for our members and provided the best service possible while taking the number one spot for customer service departments out of 114 credit unions across the country!

In 2021, OceanAir Federal Credit Union had some exciting new additions to our product stack! In early 2021, we introduced two new departments! We introduced new wealth management services, a client-focused Wealth Management department to help our members pursue financial independence, and Members of CBC Insurance Agency, a full-service Insurance agency offering discounts and special rates when combined with CBC home and auto loans! I am immensely proud of our team, and we look to grow these teams in the future.

Looking forward to 2022, we have many projects in progress and in the pipeline that will help us reach our goals. One goal is to become a better lender and another to empower our community. We are excited that our ITIN lending program is now available to our members for auto loans and we are hoping to add more loan products including home loans soon! ITIN lending brings us closer to our goal of becoming the area’s top lender, helping bring a variety of services to the local community.  CBC has also just received Juntos Avanzamos designation! Only organizations committed to serving and empowering Hispanic communities can receive this title.

I am so honored to work with a group of talented individuals and, as a team, we made 2021 one of our best years as an organization to date! Thank you for your membership!
