We’re pleased to offer competitive Term Share Certificate options designed to help members grow their savings. This summer, we expanded our focus on student lending, helping students and families navigate the growing cost of higher education. Through both student loan financing and refinancing options, we’re proud to offer solutions that support educational goals while promoting long-term financial wellness.

Members also continue to enjoy the benefits of our Epic Rewards Visa Credit Card. Eligible cardholders can earn bonus points through select promotional offers and everyday purchases, making it easier to get rewarded for spending they already do.

You may also notice exciting progress at our Oxnard Branch. The remodel is moving along well and will provide a more modern, welcoming, and efficient experience for both members and team members. We appreciate your patience during construction and apologize for any temporary inconvenience. Once complete, the branch will reflect the updated look and feel of our Camarillo and Simi Valley locations.

At OceanAir, we remain dedicated to helping our members achieve their financial goals while continuing to invest in our products, services, and facilities. Thank you for being part of the OceanAir family. We look forward to serving you for many years to come.

Community Impact

OceanAir proudly partnered with United Way of Ventura County for its annual Stuff the Bus campaign, an initiative dedicated to providing essential school supplies to underserved K-8 students throughout Ventura County. By helping students start the school year with the tools they need, the campaign supports their confidence, preparedness, and ability to succeed in the classroom.

As part of the effort, every OceanAir branch served as a donation hub, giving our members, employees, and community an opportunity to come together and make a difference. Thanks to their generosity, OceanAir collected more than 150 school supply items to support local students and families.

The impact continued beyond collecting supplies. This year’s Stuff the Bus campaign provided an incredible 3,053 backpacks to local students, helping thousands of children head back to school prepared and ready to learn. OceanAir volunteers were proud to roll up their sleeves and be part of that effort, stuffing 1,730 backpacks in just three hours.

For OceanAir, supporting our community means more than providing financial services. It means showing up, lending a hand, and investing in the people and families who make Ventura County home. We are proud to support our local students and help give them the tools they need to begin the school year with confidence and set themselves up for success.

Remembering Kristie Elzinga:
A Life of Service & Community Impact

OceanAir honors the memory of Kristie Elzinga, whose dedication to service, leadership, and community enrichment left a lasting impact throughout Ventura County.

A respected banking professional and tireless community volunteer, Kristie was known for her warmth, generosity, and commitment to helping others. Throughout her life, she devoted her time and talents to numerous organizations, including the Oxnard College Foundation, Port Hueneme Kiwanis, California Strawberry Festival, Oxnard Ambassadors, and the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Oxnard and Port Hueneme. She also served as a state-certified Ombudsman for Ventura County, advocating on behalf of local residents and families.

OceanAir was privileged to benefit from Kristie’s leadership and experience during her tenure on the OceanAir Federal Credit Union Board of Directors from 2018 to 2021. Her banking expertise, thoughtful perspective, and passion for serving the community made her a valued contributor to the Board and the credit union’s mission.

Those who knew Kristie remember her welcoming spirit, kindness, and willingness to support others. Whether serving on a board, volunteering at a community event, or helping a friend or neighbor, she consistently demonstrated a genuine commitment to making a positive difference.
