Dear OceanAir Members, 

We believe 2025 was a pivotal year for OceanAir FCU. We gained momentum by investing in services, capabilities, and experiences that make your financial life easier and more flexible. With a strong foundation, we brought more value in-house, expanded our offerings, and met members’ evolving needs.

We moved card servicing fully in-house, giving us greater control and faster support. We expanded our insurance business by adding carriers and offering premium financing to help members manage rising costs. To address Ventura County’s housing affordability challenges, we introduced manufactured home loans—making us the only locally headquartered financial institution to offer this type of financing. We also added Buy Now, Pay Later on debit cards, giving members more flexibility for larger purchases while promoting responsible spending. 

In 2026, we’re excited to begin remodeling the Oxnard Branch lobby to make it more functional and modern, inspired by the café concept that has been so well received at our Camarillo and Simi Valley branches. We’ve also launched student lending solutions to better support our members’ educational goals.

Our financial position remains strong, enabling us to reinvest in competitive rates, valuable services, and long-term stability. This work reflects our cooperative mission and our focus on practical, member-centered solutions.

Thank you for being a member of OceanAir Federal Credit Union.

As Chair of our volunteer Board of Directors, I am proud to reflect on another year of progress and continued commitment to serving our members and community. OceanAir remains focused on empowering financial well-being and delivering meaningful value across every
stage of your financial journey.

This past year, we have made significant operational and product enhancements to better serve you. We successfully brought our card processing fully in-house, improving efficiency and member experience. We also continued to expand our insurance business, enhancing our ability to provide comprehensive financial solutions under one roof. Additionally, we introduced manufactured home loans to meet evolving housing needs and launched buy now, pay later options for larger purchases, offering greater flexibility to our members.

At OceanAir, we pride ourselves on having some of the most dedicated and knowledgeable employees in the industry. Their commitment to understanding your needs ensures that we continue to deliver products and services that truly make a difference—from everyday banking solutions to specialized financial services.

Looking ahead to 2026, we are excited about several key initiatives that will further enhance our offerings. These include the introduction of student lending programs to support educational goals, as well as the remodel of our Oxnard branch and café, which will provide an upgraded, modern space designed with our members in mind.

Community Impact

Our philosophy drives meaningful engagement in the communities we serve. OceanAir supports organizations that create lasting impact—uplifting, inspiring, and enriching lives. Pictured are OceanAir team members at community events throughout 2025, including Ventura Housing, My Way Home, Surfrider Foundation, and the Animal Shelter of Ventura County.

OceanAir actively reaches members and students across Ventura County through partnerships with local high schools, colleges, and nonprofit organizations—providing financial literacy education and resources to strengthen community well-being. We are also a proud partner of the Mexican Consulate of Oxnard’s Ventanilla de Asesoría Financiera, serving all visitors, and as a Juntos Avanzamos designee, we deliver inclusive financial services in members’ native languages to help bridge financial gaps.

For the people who nourish our communities every day. Hosted over coffee and breakfast from La Villa 805, participants gained practical tools for budgeting, building credit, and accessing local resources to support their financial well-being. This impactful effort was even recognized at the national level through a feature in Inclusiv’s Insights Magazine.
