Dear Valued OceanAir Members ,
As we step into the final quarter of the year, I want to take a moment to reflect on our journey and share my excitement for what lies ahead.
This Q4 is particularly special as it marks the official rebranding to OceanAir. This transformation is not just a change in our logo or name, but a reflection of our growth, our vision, and our commitment to innovation and excellence. Our new brand identity will better represent who we are and where we are headed.
If you’d like to read more about why we’ve decided to embark on this rebrand journey, I invite you to do so by clicking below.
The rebranding is a testament to our collective efforts and the bright future we are building together. It symbolizes our readiness to embrace new challenges and opportunities with renewed energy and enthusiasm. I am confident that this new chapter will bring us closer to our goals and help us achieve even greater heights.
Thank you for your unwavering commitment and passion. Here’s to a successful and prosperous Q4! I am wishing both you and your loved ones a prosperous ending to 2024 and happy holidays.
Warm regards,

Our vision is to inspire financial happiness, one member at a time.
Empowering people along their financial journey through personalized and innovative service.
During the quarter, we partnered with United Way of Ventura County for a back-to-school drive. Over a two-week period, we collected more than 300 supplies, contributing to United Way’s total of 6,000 school supplies gathered. Our team then volunteered to organize the donated supplies into backpacks. As a result, over 3,000 backpacks were distributed to students across 12 K-12 school districts in Ventura County.
We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team of volunteers. As a member of the board of Directors at OceanAir FCU, you will play a crucial role in the governance and strategic planning of our credit union.
Our Associate Director Program offers an entry-level course designed to familiarize you with credit union processes, enhance your knowledge and experience, and prepare you for potential nomination as a voting Director.
As a Board member, your primary responsibilities will include attending monthly meetings, completing a minimum of 18 hours of training annually, and achieving financial literacy as required by the NCUA. You may also be asked to serve on various Board committees. The board term is three years.
Applicants must be in good standing with the credit union and possess some understanding and experience in finance and/or budgeting, gained through work experience, community involvement, or other business associations.
Please submit your letter of interest by February 15, 2025, to the nominating committee at: [email protected]
